Not only would the person you steal from will distrust you in the future, others will too. Perhaps they tell a person about what you did, that person won't trust you. You'd be unlikely to be employed or trusted to be friends with someone, borrow something you need or be left alone with others personal items. Stealing is wrong morally and in the end you'll be punished in one way or another.
