as part of a class project, Claire needs to draw a food chain of the animals she sees in the zoo. where in the food chain should she place the rabbits

I don't know what the other animals are in the food chain given, but the rabbits will most likely go towards the bottom because they consume plants (the grass) and not other animals so, therefore, will be somewhat low on the food chain. Hope I could help! :)
