Okay so I don't know if there is specific answer choices but Jim crow laws Made it hard for African Americas because it caused things like (literacy test, And separate Water fountains ect. Basically anything that kept blacks and whites apart It was a lot of discrimination) Okay The Plessy vs. Ferguson case was about a mixed man ( black and white) But he considered himself as a black man. His case went to court and then the judge said we can be "separate but equal." Which was not cool at all because Blacks were still treated unfairly. So what was "separate but equal" wasnt really equal.
