Compromise, truce, and mediation are forms of the social interaction accommodation. Arbitration is also a form of accommodation. This form of social interaction requires both parties in the interaction to give up something they want or not fully get their way to create a peaceful interaction. The other forms of interaction are cooperation, conflict, exchange, and competition.
