I have attached a picture that shows the computation with an explanation for each number. The main idea is to represent the situation with the retail price, multiplied by the percent you'll pay after 20% has been deducted, multiplied by the percent you will pay after the additional 15% is taken off for store A. For store B it will be the retail price multiplied by the price you pay after the 35% has been taken off. You can see that store C will be a lower price after the discounts.
