Hello!
Let's convert the fraction and percentage to a decimal and then compare the three decimals because I find that easiest.
To convert a fraction to a decimal, simply divide the numerator by the denominator:
1 ÷ 4 = 0.25
1/4 = 0.25 as a decimal
Since percentages are always out of 100, it is very easy to convert convert them to a decimal:
35% ÷ 100 = 0.35
35% = 0.35 as a decimal.
From least to greatest:
0.25, 0.35, 0.4
Tasks in order from least to greatest:
Doing homework, doing chores, reading email.
