i have 60+8x=108 x=6 but for the other equation i dont know how to get rid of the 3x to solve for the y.

angle a is congurent to angle e, so 60+8x=108
same with c and g.
so 8y-3x=62
just plug in x for there (6)
so 8y-24=62
then 8y=88
y=11
