38 is equal to 38/1. So the fractions can be written as follows. [tex]$ \dfrac{3}{4} \times\ \dfrac{38}{1} $[/tex]
In a fraction multiplication, we operate them by multiplying the numerator to the other numerator and multiplying the denominator to the other denominator. Or we could write it like this. [tex]$ \dfrac{3}{4} \times\ \dfrac{38}{1} $[/tex] = [tex] \dfrac{3\times\ 38}{4\times\ 1} [/tex] = [tex] \dfrac{114}{4} [/tex]
Because the numerator and the denominator are divisible by 2, we should simplify the fraction form = [tex]\dfrac{114:2}{4:2}[/tex] = [tex] \dfrac{57}{2} [/tex]
