For example, for the first step, I multiplied (x - 3) by -2x^2 to get (-2x^3 +6x^2). When you subtract it from the number under your radical like you would in regular long division, you can change its signs to cancel out the first number under the radical. The blocky-looking subtraction signs are ones I changed. Your final answer is (-2x^2-10x-27) with a remainder of -79.
