Answer : The correct option is, (D) 4.5 m/s

Solution :

Formula used :

[tex]P=\frac{w}{t}=\frac{F\times d}{t}=F\times v[/tex]

where,

w = work done

t = time taken

d = displacement

P = power = 450 W

F = force = 100 N

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get the velocity of the ball.

[tex]P=F\times v[/tex]

[tex]450W=(100N)\times v[/tex]

[tex]v=4.5m/s[/tex]

Therefore, the velocity of the ball is, 4.5 m/s
