The modern state of Israel was created in 1948.

a).  no; the Sinai war was 8 years later

b).  no; the Camp David accords were hammered out 30 years later

c).  no; the Yom Kippur war broke out 25 years later.

d).  yes.  Following World War II (ended in 1945), the UN voted and
passed resolutions to Partition the British Mandate in Palestine.

The authorities in the Jewish partition at that time accepted the
partition plan, and declared Israel a sovereign state as soon as
it took effect.

The authorities in the Arab partition at that time rejected the partition
plan.  They got together with some of their buddies in other nearby
countries who were not even affected by the plan, and together,
their combined armies rolled toward Israel as soon as the plan
took effect.  Their intention was to undo Israel as an independent
country.  Strange as it may seem, although Israel didn't even have
an army yet, the invading armies failed that time.  And though it
may seem even stranger than that, even now ... 68 years later ...
they still don't accept Israel's existence, and they still plan to get rid
of it, and they still incite their people and teach their children to hate
Israel and all Jews in general.

The answer is D good luck for anyone taking the final right now
