Archaeology is the study of human cultures, and how they interacted with one another and the land around them. Anthropology studies human groups and cultures as well, and is concerned with how these groups grow and change. Both history and geography touch on these subjects, but are also much wider in their scope, and include events and times that do not directly relate to human life.
