In any case, cognitive impairment is considered to be a very debilitating condition and it affects people profoundly sometimes; especially when we're talking about serious cases of cognitive impairment. In general, being cognitively impaired means that the majority of your cognitive functions can be damaged; like decision making, memory, executive functioning, etc.
