you should first multiply and then sum up the A together and B together : 8 A + 16 B + 12 A + 6 B = 20 A + 22 B :D

We do the distributive property
8*a+ 16b + 6*2 +6*b =
8a+16b + 12a +6b
Now we need to combine like terms.
16b and 6b are like terms.
16b+6b= 22b
12a and 8a are also like terms.
12a+8a= 20a
Our most simple form is: 20a+22b
Final answer: 20a + 22b
