The intervention that the nurse should provide to a client that has pediculosis is medication and environmental control. The nurse should first assess the patient's symptoms and to check the possible cause as to why the patient had it. After doing so, the nurse should know the standard treatment to be provided to the patient. Second, environmental control is a must in a way of preventing pediculosis patients to spread it towards another unaffected person and by that, the nurse should use proper interventions that could prevent the patient with pediculosis from having to spread it or affect other people.
