Why do you suppose the colonists choose Locke's point of view over prominent enlightened thinkers? Where are those views evident?

Respuesta :

Locke ‘is the most influential philosopher of modern times.’ He notes that besides initiating the vigorous tradition known as British empiricism, Locke's influence reached far beyond the limits of the traditional discipline of philosophy. ‘His influence in the history of thought, on the way we think about ourselves and our relation to the world we live in,
so basically he was very dedicated and was one out of most who influenced others with his work.........
so of course  colonists  would choose him
Hope this helps
