I would say that technology and machinery has led to more efficient production of goods. Technology and machinery help produce items faster, which means items can be sold at a higher rate. New manufacturing processes then take place. Just think of the Industrial Revolution. Each time we take a step forward with technology and machinery, production becomes more efficient. This is not only in production of, but also delivery of goods.
