Respuesta :

The caged bird, is a striking imagery used by Paul Laurence Dunbar in his poem. The caged bird is an imagery used to tell a story about someone who is not free, someone who's been kept from doing what he or she really wants. The caged bird beating his wings shows someone's struggle to get out of the cage and be free.
