since the numerator (1) is positive and the denominator (x-7)^2 approaches zero; where x>0 on both sides means f(x) increases indefinitely (to infinity)
limit = infinity
vertical asymptote at x=7

If you graph it, you will see the vertical asymptote at x =7 and if you make a table using values very close to 7. (example: 6.8, 6.9, 7, 7.1, 7.2) you will see f(x) get larger and larger the closer you get to 7.
then at x=7 ... f(x) does not exist. it's gone to infinity
