In the movie the Giver, they use lots of coloring and lighting to effect the mood. In the beginning of the movie, the coloring is black and white and the lighting is bright. This gives you the sense of something different from today from another time, and it also causes a sort of depressing mood hence there is no color. The special effects include close slow motion shots of the main character enjoying his life biking and doing other things. This makes the mood more intriguing, as we are interested in what makes this person different from the others, and why we are focused on him. The music is very light and instrumental with piano which causes a lighthearted mood and somewhat sad moods in some scenes. Overall, the mood is depressing and causes suspense.

The movie that I recently watched was Kung Fu Panda and it was suspense-filled.

In the movie, Kung Fu Panda, there were lots of coloring and lighting that were used in creating a beautiful mood. The bright light was vital in making the animals colorful and expressing their beauty.

The movie was filled with suspense. Suspense is an uneasy feeling that a reader gets when the reader or the audience doesn't know what'll happen next.

In the story, the panther doesn't know his parents and the audience were not sure if he was going to be the greatest warrior.
