First you have to find the y-intercept (which is 0 ) and mark a point on it. Then take the slope (which is 1/2 ) and apply it to the y-intercept. to plugin the slope to the graph you need to start at the y-intercept (0,0) , go up 1 unit and go right 2 units and then mark a point there , go up 1 unit more and go right 2 units and then mark another point there. After you mark more points in that same pattern (slope) you cross a line through the points.

The graph of the equation y = 1/2x on the coordinate plane is plotted below

The given equation is:

[tex]y = \frac{1}{2}x[/tex]

The equation is of the form:

y  =  mx  +  c

where m represents the slope

and c represents the y-intercept

Comparing the equation [tex]y = \frac{1}{2}x[/tex] with y = mx + c

The slope, m = 1/2

The y-intercept, c = 0

The line graph with slope, m = 1/2, and y-intercept, c = 0 is plotted below
