Having headlights on during a sunny day will make it easier for vehicles to see other vehicles, particularly as it approaches from far away. Noticing oncoming cars using their headlights in the daytime has led to decreased number of accidents.
So, it can be said that daytime lighting system of cars is essential for road safety.
