"in ww1 it was called 'shell shock, in ww2 same combat condition was called 'battle fatigue', by the Korean war the very same condition was called 'operational exhaustion' any last traces of humanity have been completely squeeze out of it, we got to Vietnam and it was named 'post-traumatic stress disorder. if it was still 'shell shock' veterans might have received the attention they needed" what does this quote mean? How is humanity squeezed out?

Respuesta :

In the Vietnam it was still called “shell shock” PTSD was not truly exploited until Afghanistan and Iraq. Vietnam vets were treated much differently because of the general populations view on the war and politics set forth after JFK’s death
