Denudation describes the erosion process of rocks by weathering, ice waves, and erosion. The structure of the earth means the hardness or the softness of rocks and soil structure. A hard structure offers more resistance to weathering compared to a softer structure.
Weathering and erosion are high in wet climates which in turn increases denudation and finally, some human activities such as mining and construction also affect the rock structure. Heavy machinery used during these processes weakens the bond between rocks particles which increases denudation.
