Both of the sciences mentioned, geography and history, are sciences that are connected and there's constant interaction between them both.
The geography is the right hand of the history, as everything that happened, happened in the geographical sphere, and the geographical factors had always played a vital role in the development of the history.
The history is the descriptive part that gives us the clues what, why, and how something happened, and that very often refers to the geography, thus we can conclude that both sciences are intermingled, and often dependent on one another.
