I would say that the answer is 84.

         5 (Nickles) *8 (Stacks) =40 Nickels +1 more nickel equals 41 Nickels.
         6 (Dimes)*7 (Stacks) =42 Dimes+1 more dime equals 43 Dimes.
         
          41+43=84 Coins Total.
