A adjective is a word that describes/clarifies a noun.  So it's pretty much just adding info to a noun.

The boy sat at a broken desk.

Hello there,
An adjective is a word that relates or describes a noun, for example "She is tall." The adjective "tall" describes that the girl is tall. There are way more including "Fat, pretty, magnificent, etc."
