i.e A caterer prepared a turkey that weighed $\frac{55}{2}$pounds.

Each serving of turkey will be $\frac{1}{3}$ pound.

Than the equation becomes in the form

$\frac{1\times x}{3} = \frac{55}{2}$

$x = \frac{55\times 3}{2}$

$x = \frac{165}{2}$

x =82.5

Therefore the number of servings will be provided be 82.
