Michael Dell’s contribution to the late 20th
century U.S. economy was felt most in the I.T industry. He is an American
business magnate, investor, philanthropist, and author. He is well known for
being the founder and CEO of Dell Inc. It is one of the world’s leading sellers
of PCs (personal computers). He started an informal business of putting
together and selling upgrade kits for personal computers while still a freshman
pre-med student at the University of Texas.
