Any term with a negative exponent can be changed to a positive exponent by crossing the fraction bar, meaning that it has to go to the bottom. In this problem, only the p^-5 has a negative exponent. The 1/2 remains unchanged. Since the 2 is already in the denominator when you move the p^5 down, the final answer is: 1/(2p^5).
