The Cornea is a transparent layer located at the forefront of a person's eyes. This covers up your iris, your pupil, and the anterior chambers of your eyeballs, and is considered the main source of focusing power in your eyes. The Conjunctiva, on the other hand, lies just right on a person’s sclera and coats the inside of your eyelids. The difference of the two lies in their location and functions. The Cornea is there to act as the outermost protection of the eyes and focusing power while the Conjunctiva is there for lubricating it.
