2. Finance and jobs
The second cause of family conflict is finance and/or jobs. The lack amount of money to pay bills and debts, to maintain the rent or mortgage, to fulfill the food supply for the whole family members, and other necessities, will likely trigger the family conflict. On the other hand, if parents spend more time outside to work and have limited quality time with the children, this will also increase the chance of family conflict.
3. In-laws and extended family
The third cause of family conflict is the problem with in-laws and extended family. It is almost impossible to not having a conflict with extended family or in-laws when we are in a family. For example when we have to respect elders while at the same time it is challenging to do so. It is also difficult to avoid family conflict when we have relatives who like to interfere with our family’s lives, lifestyles, and decisions.
4. Child discipline
The last but not least cause of family conflict is the child discipline. When one parent (for example is the mother) acts as the disciplinarian while another parent (for example is the father) acts as the consoler, it is hard to avoid the family conflict because of this different perspective.
