Three components of creativity are:
1. Desired skill set - This includes knowledge, technical expertise, intelligence, procedural understanding of the field/domain in which an individual is working.
2. Creative thinking - This includes an individual's style of thinking, ability of risk taking, capability of generating ideas, approach to problem solving and how flexible a person is so as to adopt new ways.
3. Motivation - Most important factor as this makes a person work better. This includes rewards, awards, compliments or it can be for personal satisfaction, enjoyment, or to excel in competitive environment.
