Respuesta :
The Cold War started right after World War II, right where the two powers were almost victorious over the Nazis. Stalin occupied much of Eastern Europe and the Baltic states, while the Allies had Western Europe and Italy. Both pacts had ideas about post-war Europe, and deeply mistrusted each other. Stalin made the first move by unleashing communist movements trained beforehand to control conquered areas and setup governments loyal to Moscow, earning the ire of Allies and there Cold War began.
There were several reasons the Cold War broke out and some of them were:
- Difference in economic systems.
- Difference in style of government.
The United States supported a free market economy while the Soviet Union was communist. This led to both of them struggling to influence more people to switch to their economic style.
The U.S. also supported democracy while the Soviet Union was more dictatorial so the U.S. tried to get more countries to be democratic as opposed to being Communist.
In conclusion, the Cold War started for several reasons.
