The graphic you are looking for looks like the one shown in the attached figure.Remember that to graph a line you need two points, which you give them. The equation of the line you are looking for in this case will be given by y = 2x + 1

It is my belief that the answer is g(x) = 3^(x+1) - 2.  This is because the two points marked are not the result of a stretch or compression, and they remain the same except for a slight shift in position.
