 .Robert Mugabe is the dictator who rules Zimbabwe now. When you talk about the rise and fall of Zimbabwe, I assume you are talking about the present. Mugabe wants power, as do mots dictators in Africa. They are not used to the concept of democracy. They rig elections and hurt their people. It will be a long time before Zimbabwe is ready for democracy. Corruption, power-grabbing, squandering the public's money is ingrained in their nature.
