You should start to decelerate or slow down. In addition, at a minimum distance of 100 feet, you should put on your turn signal or indicator that you are turning to the right. As you are slowing down, make sure to avoid moving to the left as this may indicate to other drivers that you are attempting a different maneuver, other than turning to the right. In addition, you should make sure to check for any bicyclists, pedestrians or vehicles you may encounter in your path along the roadway, sidewalk or driveway you are going to use.
