The formula for finding class boundaries is as follows: To find the upper class boundary, UCB = UL (upper limit) + 1/2 unit of measurement To find the lower class boundary, LCB = LL (lower limit) - 1/2 unit of measurement The limits are 1-10, or 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10. The unit of measurement is 1. The lower limit is 1 (the smallest interval). The upper limit is 10 (the largest interval). LCB = 1-1/2(1) 1-0.5=0.5 The lower class boundary is 0.5.
