The name of the disorder is embolism. Embolism is a condition in which anything, not strictly blood cot, but even fat globules, gas bubbles, water bubbles, and other objects get stuck in the blood vessels, blocking the passage of blood through it. These lodged particles are called embolus. Embolism causes cells to not get fresh oxygen and rapidly die off, which can even cause death to the patient.
