How did the achievements of the Scientific Revolution contribute to the Enlightenment ?

The scientific revolution contributed to enlightenment because the new ideas and findings that were found and discovered during the scientific revolution greatly shaped the view of man in the time and how he thought of himself in relation to other aspects of nature. This also influenced enlightenment as a thought and cultural era as well.
