f(x)=(x+1)/x
y= (x+1)/2
x= (y+1)/y
x-1= (y+1)/y - y/y              ----> subtract 1 for both side. change 1 into y/y
x-1= (y+1-y)/y                 ------> subtract (y-1) with y
x-1= (1)/y 
y= 1/ x-1

f^-1x=1/x-1
