Hello there!

The correct answer is Ag⁺.

If we look at the solubility rules, it says that most chlorides are soluble, except with Ag⁺, and Pb²⁺.

I hope this helps!

Answer: Ag +( aq)

Explanation:

[tex]3AgNO_3(aq)+FeCl_3(aq)\rightarrow 3AgCl(s)+Fe(NO_3)_3(aq)[/tex]

This is an example of double displacement reaction in which exchange of ions take place. Positively charged [tex]Ag^+[/tex] combines with negatively charged [tex]Cl^-[/tex] ions  to form [tex]AgCl[/tex] which is insoluble in water, thus forms a precipitate.

Positively charged [tex]Fe^{3+}[/tex] combines with  negatively charged [tex]NO_3^-[/tex] ions to produce [tex]Fe(NO_3)_3[/tex] which dissolves in water.
