A direct democracy is also known as a pure democracy. A direct or pure democracy is completely enjoyed when every law, bill, issues and everything is being voted by people before getting a decision. Direct democracy is completely contrast to what we call as the representative democracy. In representative democracy, the public vote for representatives in which the representatives are the ones who make the law for the public. The ancient Athens is the most popular example of direct or pure democracy.
