I would say that to explore the human condition by mirroring reality and to provide a platform for examining moral and social values are definitely correct. 
Plays present us with a reality similar to our own, where we can determine what is right and what is wrong based on something which may very well happen in our own lives. Plays may help us realize something new about the world around us. I'm not sure if the other options should be correct as well, but I think A and B are.
