• Knowledge does not originate with one person. For Kepler to be able to arrive at his own conclusion, he must have learnt and studied from other.

There are people who contributed to the theory of planetary motion directly or indirectly. some includes Nicolaus Copernicus who through his observation stated that the planets revolve around the Sun.

K Tycho Brahe also contributed indirectly. Others are, Aristotle who viewed the earth as stationary.

Conclusively, Kepler's published the laws of planetary motion which shows that planets orbits around the Sun.
