Schizophrenia. This condition is caused by the brain not correctly recognizing what is true and what is false. One of the main symptoms is one becoming a recluse, without regard to the way one looks or acts. In severe cases, it may be assumed that the person is on drugs because of hallucinations, and of speech patterns which are hard to understand.
