When ammonium is dissolved in wated, we have, NH3 + H2O >> NH4+ + OHÂŻ pOH = -log[OH-] pOH = -log[2.25x10^-2] pOH = 1.6478 Since pH + pOH=14. Therefore pH = 14 - pOH = 14 - 1.648 = 12.3522. [H+]=10^-pH [H+]=10^(-12.3522) [H+]= 4.3250 * 10 ^(-5)
