A possible disadvantage of out crossing to the group which receives the genetic material is that A DISEASE IN THE RECESSIVE FORM CAN BE INTRODUCED INTO THE GROUP.
The group from which the genetic material is taken can have some recessive disease which are not manifesting physically yet. This diseases may later show up in the group that is receiving the genetic material.
