Socially people would not want to be friends with that person because of their infection because they may think unhealthy people are not cool enough to be their friends or imperfect flaws judge people for who they're even though this is NOT true. The classmates may make fun of this infected person or even bully them day by day until their infection is removed so the sick person can be like them and not someone different.
If a class mate is having STI it will affect him/her badly it can cause self-hatred and depression after diagnosis.
