Marcus said the product of 7/8 x 1 3/4 is 9/4. How can you tell that his answer is wrong?

estimate......7/8 rounds to 1......1 3/4 rounds to 2.....1 * 2 = 2....and thats rounding up...so the actual answer would be less then 2....and 9/4 = 2 1/4...so 9/4 is more then 2

just multiply straight across, 7x13 = 91 8x4= 32, 91/32 than just simplify this
